If you look any company large or small they all have vision statements. These statements are in place to help guide the company and it’s employees understand the direction and ultimate goals of the company. Most of these vision statements are proudly displayed in corporate offices and staff lounges as a daily reminder of where the company is going and provides motivation to employees.

Creating a vision board serves a very similar purpose, it allows you to create a visual reminder of your vision and goals for your life personally and professionally. I recently created my vision board and I put it on my dresser as a daily reminder and inspiration of what I want my life to look like today, tomorrow and in 20 years.
Here is what I used to create my vision board:
I also used a Black Ultra Fine Point Sharpie and I printed out images found on Google Image that represent a visual image of my vision.
Here is my vision board completed:
Each of the images represents a part of the vision I have for my life either personally or professionally, I also have them in order of importance and/or order of ability to accomplish timeline.
I believe that what you focus on and think about becomes your reality. This is why visions and creating vision boards are so imported to make your dreams a reality. What is your vision for your life? What would you put on your vision board? Do you need to create a new vision board? As you complete parts of your vision and life changes you may need to create an updated board.
